Need a copy of your GED® record or GED verification?

The GED transcript is official documentation of passing the GED Tests.  Under the Family Educational Rights to Privacy Act of 1974, Kentucky Adult Education (KYAE) cannot provide GED scores, dates GED diplomas were issued or pass/fail information by phone.

What information is needed to conduct a record search?

What does it cost?

There is a $10.00 non-refundable processing fee for all requests. If a record is found, the processing fee is applied toward the cost of the record purchase. If a record is not found, the requestor will be notified that no record was found and the $10.00 fee will be retained by KYAE. If a mailed request is incomplete, it will be rejected and the $10.00 processing fee retained. If an online request is incomplete, after 15 business days the request will be deleted and any fees received will be retained.

How long will it take to receive my record?

The estimated time frames given below are contingent upon the required information, paperwork and payment being received. Business days are Monday through Friday, not including state holidays. Please allow sufficient time for your request to be processed. Phone calls asking about the status of a request will not be accepted until adequate processing time has passed.
